Madame Tussauds London does feature strobe lighting and UV lighting
Please see below for other areas that could be of concern:
- Chamber of Horrors: There are some strobing lights in the last part of the Chamber of Horrors, where our Jack the Ripper figure is. We would not recommend this experience to guests with light-sensitive conditions. The Chamber of Horrors can be bypassed if necessary.
- Spirit of London ride: Some low-level strobing lights in the initial fog tunnel and during the Blitz scene, and pulsing lights at points in the ride, but not throughout. The ride can be bypassed if necessary.
There are no other strobing lights around the building, however there are several flashing and chasing lights effects throughout the attraction. We would like to particularly highlight the first corridor, where there is a screen imitating paparazzi taking photos with bright flashes.
Guests can quickly move past the screen, but this corridor cannot be skipped entirely without being taken through a very different route by a staff member.
Areas that currently feature UV emitters are:
- The Black Panther set in the Marvel Hall of Heroes
- The entrance stairs and first set in the Star Wars area
- The Darth Vader set in the Star Wars area
Those areas can be skipped. If you have a severe sensitivity to UV lighting that would make it dangerous for you to pass through these areas, please speak with a member of the team on the day so that they can assist.
