Madame Tussauds London reveals new Ed Sheeran figure as sold-out tour arrives in the capital
On June 12th 2018 we unveiled our long-awaited figure of the iconic British pop star, Ed Sheeran, just in time for his mammoth ÷ UK tour which hits London this week. Standing ‘gig ready’ with his trusty electro acoustic guitar in hand, Ed’s likeness was unveiled this morning in a rather unusual location – Lady Dinah's Cat Emporium in Bethnal Green, London’s famous cat café.
Looking like he’s about to take to the stage sporting his famous tattoos, red hair and a check shirt Ed’s likeness will be available for guests to see in attraction from Tuesday 19thJune. The figure will stand alongside a giant interactive guitar that guests can play to bring Ed’s songs to life. Joining a plethora of home-grown British musicians such as Adele and One Direction, Ed’s figure is the first music addition to the famous London attraction in 2018.

Guests will be able to meet ‘Her Royal Likeness’ and husband-to-be, Prince Harry, from 19th May. Placed in front of a 15 foot wide video wall you can choose how you would like to hang out with everyone’s favourite Royals. Select from a range of backdrops and props to capture a moment with the young Royals – from the cutting of the cake at their wedding to relaxing on a private beach.
Dressed in their famous engagement announcement outfits, Meghan’s figure sports the sold-out P.A.R.O.S.H. dress and a replica of the engagement ring designed by Harry himself, with some added Madame Tussauds London magic to make it sparkle elegantly on the future Duchess’ perfectly manicured hand. Harry’s figure – originally created to mark his 30th birthday in 2014 – has been updated for the special occasion, most notably adding the Royal’s dashing beard.
The first chance to catch a glimpse of ‘Their Royal Likenesses’ will be on Meghan and Harry’s last night of freedom. Tickets are on sale for a special over-18s hen and stag do from 7.30pm on Friday 18th May at the iconic location, complete with a bar and live DJ – the perfect way to party with the golden couple ahead of their big day.
